A ferret racing evening is being held on Saturday 31st July in aid of Blandford Amateur Dramatics Society starting at 18:00 at the clubhouse.

Cost of entry is £7.50 which includes a ploughmans and your first bet.

Helen has now moved on to take on the role of Whole Club Development Officer. The role of Chairman of the Junior Section has been filled by Louis Minchella.

Annual Dinner Dance

Bar Steward Wanted

An Evening with a Referee

An Evening with a Referee is an informal evening with a Referee from the Dorset & Wilts Referee Society who will explain the basic rules of why the referee blows his whistle, stops play or gives the ball to the opposition.

A Gentlemans Evening is to be held in the clubhouse on Wed 14th April. This will be in the form of a curry night starting 19:30 in commemoration of the David Barnes Testimonial year.

The First Team were home to Weymouth. They came away with a narrow loss of 19-24 in what was a close run game.
The Second Team were away to Weymouth II, they also came away with a loss, final score 64-14 to Weymouth II.

Bacon Butty Day

Mandy and Claire will be holding a bacon butty and cake sale, pitchside on 11 April.

Cake donations are required from parents in all age groups to ensure a success.

All profits will go towards funding the end of season presentation buffet.

10th April - VP Day. Our First XV will play a match against Weymouth, full details available from Leani.
3rd May - Georgian Fayre Day. This event will include a family day and BBQ at the clubhouse.
7th May - Golf Day. Will be held at Canford Magna Golf Course. Full Details available from Phill Meaden at phill at gorcombe.co.uk
11th June - Annual Dinner Dance/Summer ball at Gorcombe, further details to follow.
