The responsibility for ensuring the health and safety of all
young players who are registered members of Blandford Rugby Football Club
Junior Section is vested in me as the Chairperson.
My objectives are
to:
- Prevent injury to all young players
- Provide a safe environment in which the Health and
Safety of the Young Player is paramount
- Ensure that all who assist with the running of the
Junior Section, Blandford Rugby Football are correctly vetted.
- Provide volunteers who act as Coaches and Team Managers
with suitable training to undertake their role and ensure that they are
supported by more experienced coaches.
- Develop and adhere to a series of Codes of Conduct and
Procedures to ensure the safety and well being of all members of the Junior
Section, Blandford Rugby Football Club.
To achieve these objectives, policy statements on Health
and Safety and Safeguarding, Welfare (including Child Protection) and Equity
have been prepared as necessary and are to be reviewed on an annual basis. To
aid in the implementation of these documents and policies are the Terms of
Reference for the Junior Section Committee and Job Descriptions for all roles
within the Junior Section.
